TORONTO (Reuters) - Toronto's Mayor Rob Ford on Friday won an appeal against a ruling that was set to remove him from office, allowing him to see out his four-year term and ending a showdown that has transfixed City Hall.
Ford, a magnet for controversy during the two years he has already spent mayor, was ordered out of office last November after he was found guilty of conflict of interest charges. He won the right to stay on the job while he appealed.
