COLOMBO (Reuters) - India failed to reach the World Twenty20 semi-finals when they were unable to restrict South Africa to 121 runs or fewer in the final Super Eight Group two match on Tuesday.

Even if India defend their total of 152 for six they will finish behind Pakistan on net run rate.

South Africa reached 122 for five in the 17th over, sending the Pakistanis into the last four along with Australia.
